Wirilda Environment Park is located just off Clarkes Road, Tyers. Access to the Park is available from Pipeline Track, which via Clarkes Road is just 500 meters from Yallourn North-Tyers Road.


The Park is an easy 2 hour drive from Melbourne on the Princes Highway and 10 minutes from the nearby towns of Moe, Morwell and Traralgon.


The Park is open to the public seven days a week from 9am to dusk.


The Park is an ideal picnic area, featuring a shelter, barbecues, tables and benches and toilet facilities.


Other activities available include bushwalking though several walking tracks, bird-watching and swimming in the Tyers River.


The Park offers an impressive 'Education Centre' equipped with a modern kitchen, which is available for hire. Enquiries can be directed to Eugen Reichardt on (03) 5167 1238.


Wirilda Environment Park is owned and managed in trust for the people of the Latrobe Valley by the Wirilda Project Association.
